Each spring TNFIRST, a non-profit and tax-exempt corporation, hosts a 2 day robotics competition called the FIRST Smoky Mountains Regional. This event brings over 50 high school robotics teams together for a competition that takes the best of the sporting world and combines it with the best science and engineering efforts that you can imagine. With the large screen live video displays, the referees, the 27ft by 54ft field of play, the emcee, the DJ and audio system, and two full days of 2 minute robot matches, you can truly experience a one of a kind event that you have to see to believe.

Each regional competition costs well over $100,000 to execute and needs significant sponsorship to fund all the audio/video costs, venue rental fees, provide all the food, and bring all the equipment and logistics together to host this event. Please help us support the FIRST program here in Tennessee and keep the Smoky Mountains Regional as one of the best FRC events in the nation!
